YMCA Sudbury
understands the need for local businesses to become more environmentally. In
recent years, YMCA Sudbury has worked hard to operate in a more environmentally
conscious manner. We are proud to announce the implementation of a new program
encouraging a heightened sense of dedication to green behaviours throughout our
facility. YMCA Sudbury is committed doing our part to create a greener Sudbury.
The following
highlights some of the environmentally conscious practices implemented by YMCA
Sudbury.

Energy Conservation
We have removed the lights from all
vending machines located throughout the facility
Motion sensing lights are located
throughout the facility in our Squash courts, workshops and other low
traffic areas
Efficient lighting installed
throughout the facility
Use of natural light where possible
throughout the building.
During the sunny summer months, we
disconnect half of the large lights on the Fitness Floor to lower both
